High Pressure Sodium Usage Notes:

Troubleshooting

Single Arc Tubes requires up to 2-5 minutes cool-down to restart.

– You can identify a failing HPS lamp by spotting lamps that turn on-and-off every 10-15 minutes or less.

– All High Pressure Sodium ballasts utilize a separate Pulse Ignitor that can fail before the ballast.  If a new lamp fails to start in an older fixture, the ignitor may be faulty.
